Sandpearl Resort was reconstructed on the former site of Clearwater Beach Hotel, a sentimental landmark in the hearts of locals since the early 20th century. Due to seasonality in the tourism market, Sandpearl needed to garner the attention of Florida residents during the off-peak seasons to supplement out-of-state visitors escaping the winter months. BG was brought in to develop a breadth of print and digital campaigns capturing Sandpearl’s serene and family atmosphere.

By targeting specific feeder markets through local and national media outlets, Sandpearl became a renowned resort destination for Floridians and travelers across the globe. Achieving the prestigious ranking of AAA 4-Diamond Hotel, only awarded to 5.4% of more than 28,000 hotels, Sandpearl continued to gain brand exposure. In 2011 and 2012, Sandpearl was ranked among the Top 500 Hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure magazine. In 2013, Sandpearl was recognized as a Top 10 Florida Resort by Condé Nast Traveler, as well as a Top 100 Resort Spa in the US by Reader’s Choice Awards.
